♦ HISTORY OF OUR CLUB  ♦

The Professional Singles Club is a non-profit organization designed to organize  social activities. Most who attend are 55+.

The club has been in existence since 1987 and currently has a membership of approximately 130 - 150 members! 

 We are a group of energetic dynamic people who socialize with other singles in a safe, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.  The term "Professional" denotes an attitude towards life not a description of a person's occupation.

Our club is very diversified with a little bit of something for everyone.  We provide a variety of activities and events such as Sunday Brunches, Monthly Dining experiences at various restaurants in the City of Edmonton and surrounding area, Golf, Volleyball, Slo-Pitch Sports Days, Wiener Roasts, Occasional Dances, Jubilation Dinner Theatre

This club only operates due to the time and effort put in by dedicated volunteers.  Volunteers are such a vital part of a non-profit club and without a doubt they are the clubs most important resource.   

Volunteers donate their valuable time, with no monetary compensation received…….and their passion and commitment is priceless.  Because our many members come from a host of different places, fields, and experiences……...it is that diversity paired with a meaningful commitment that makes our club and our events so successful.  

The Executive Committee is nominated each year at the Annual General Meeting which is normally held in April.  The Executive are also committed to holding regular monthly meetings which are integral in achieving our goals. 

Our annual membership fee is $ 25.00, payable with the new fiscal year, which is April 1st. to March 31st.

The Professional Singles Club publishes a bi-monthly newsletter which gives our members a good look and feel for our club.  We publish our newsletters in colour by emailing and in black and white for postal delivery.
